The Research Physician conducts laboratory-based research.  When appropriate, the Research Physician translates this research into clinical practice.  The Research Physician also conducts clinical investigations and clinical research trials.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Graduate of four-year U.S. medical school or equivalent.

Other required qualifications vary by position.

Experience:

Scientific training and experience in the biomedical field.

Varies with specific position.

Certification/Licensure:

Unrestricted Oregon Medical license.

Other required qualifications vary by position.

BLS certificate from the American Heart Association.
