Legacy Health is currently seeking an experienced Supplemental Hospitalist to join our dynamic and well established Meridian Park Medical Center.

Responsibilities

  • Provides hospital-based physician care to inpatients, as the physician-of-record, in place of the patients’ primary care provider until the patient is discharged and returned to the care of the primary care provider.

Qualifications

Successful candidates will have the following education and experience:  

  • Board Certified or eligible in IM 
  • Clinical experience in IM (clinical educator experience preferred) 
  • Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent 
  • Residency completed in IM 

Licensure

  • Board eligible or board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice. 
  • Unrestricted license to practice medicine in the state(s) of practice. 
  • Active member in good standing of Hospital Medical Staff.
  • Current ACLS certificate from the American Heart Association.
