At Legacy, we are committed to making life better for others by providing state-of-the-art care with compassion. If this is how you view your work as an OB/GYN, we invite you to consider joining our community.
This OB/GYN Hospitalist position is part of Legacy Medical Group (LMG) and is shared between Legacy Mount Hood (LMH) Medical Center in Gresham, OR and Randall Children’s (RCH) /Legacy Emanuel Hospital (LEH) in Portland, OR.
This shared position offers the unique opportunity to work as an OB/GYN Hospitalist in a collaborative community setting at Legacy Mount Hood AND on a high-risk teaching service at a referral hospital in close collaboration with Maternal Fetal Medicine at Randall Children’s Hospital.

At RCH/LEMC the OB/GYN hospitalist supports the inpatient needs of the LMG Maternal Fetal Medicine service and supervises Family Medicine and OB/GYN residents from Oregon Health Sciences University. Other responsibilities include backup to the employed Certified Nurse Midwifery practice, coverage for unassigned labor/triage patients, and support of our private practice OB/GYN colleagues as needed (i.e. C-section assisting).
The OB/GYN Hospitalist is responsible for Emergency Department and inpatient gynecologic consults and emergencies (miscarriage, ovarian torsion, ectopic pregnancy) at both hospitals. Both hospitals provide 24/7 in house Anesthesia coverage.
