Overview

Legacy Medical Group (LMG), a physician-led multi-specialty organization, is seeking a BC/BE General Cardiologist (Invasive or Non-Invasive) to join our established practice based at Legacy Meridian Park Medical Center in Tualatin, Oregon. This role offers an exceptional runway: you will step directly into an active, thriving patient panel created by a planned physician retirement, ensuring an immediate full schedule from day one with tremendous upside for continued practice expansion across the fast-growing South Metro communities.

  • Guaranteed Base Salary: Competitive two-year guaranteed salary benchmarked to national medians, transitioning to a transparent productivity-based model.

Responsibilities

  • Turnkey Patient Base: Walk into an existing clinical volume with a loyal referral network spanning Tualatin, Lake Oswego, West Linn, Wilsonville, and Sherwood.
  • Balanced Clinical Model: Dedicated outpatient clinic located on the Meridian Park hospital campus combined with structured inpatient consultation and diagnostic imaging services.
  • Diagnostic Capabilities: Full access to on-site resting/stress echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography (TEE), nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT, and vascular imaging. Diagnostic catheterization available for invasive candidates.
  • Supportive Infrastructure: Embedded APP support, cardiac-trained medical assistants, integrated hospitalist service, and a cohesive local team.
  • Subspecialty Network Backing: Seamless access to our broader service line of 24+ cardiologists across LMG, including dedicated interventional, electrophysiology, advanced imaging, and heart failure specialists.

Qualifications

  • Education & Training: MD or DO from an accredited medical school; completed ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine Residency and Cardiovascular Disease Fellowship.
  • Board Certification: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease. Reading opportunities if Certificatied/eligible in Nuclear Cardiology and/or Cardiac CT .
  • Visa Note: Unable to sponsor H-1B or J-1 visa waivers at this time.

Licensure

  • Licensure & Certifications: Unrestricted Oregon medical license (or eligible) and current ACLS certification.
