      The Behavioral Health Clinician (BHC) works in a consultative and collaborative role as an integral member of the primary care team. They provide behavioral health interventions to primary care patients with the goal of improving overall health of patients.   The BHC helps address a broad spectrum of behavioral health needs in the primary care patient population. Their goal is to aid in early identification and provide problem focused interventions that promote wellness and relieve symptoms. Behavioral issues that are addressed may be related to physical or mental  health conditions. They provide assessment, management and triage of psychological and social problems in the clinic patient population.   This position requires advanced level skill in delivering evidence-based interventions targeted to improve overall health for patients with a variety of emotional and behavioral problems. The work includes the BHC meeting with patients individually for an assessment and then providing recommendations to the primary care team to enhance the patient's care plan.  When indicated, the BHC may also work with patients for several subsequent sessions to provide on-going skills training and coaching to improve health and functioning. The BHC also supports helping patients, who require services not provided in the LMG clinic, to make a smooth transition to care with community partners.   QUALIFICATIONS:   Education:   Must be a graduate of a doctor of psychology program accredited through the American Psychological Association (APA) or have a Master of Social Work degree from an accredited school of social work.   Licensure: Must hold a current valid Oregon and/or Washington License as a Psychologist (PsyD or PhD) or Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)   Experience: Minimum of two years of clinical experience or healthcare related field.   Skills: - Ability to screen for common mental health problems. For emergency coverage the group of Hospitalists are credentialed at multiple sites.    At LMH you will be part of Legacy Medical Group (LMG) Women’s Health Clinic. The group practices collaboratively, with outpatient CNM and OB/GYN clinics as well as 24//7 in-house Certified Nurse Midwifery presence on Family Birth.  OB/GYN generalists are on campus and in clinic during the day, with transition to OB Hospitalist in house coverage at night and weekends. The group works closely with Legacy Medical Group Maternal Fetal Medicine physicians, who have a clinic presence during the week and collaborate on pregnant patients requiring transfer to Randall Children’s for a higher level of care.   At RCH/LEMC the OB/GYN hospitalist supports the inpatient needs of the Legacy Medical Group (LMG) Maternal Fetal Medicine service and supervises Family Medicine and Obstetric/Gynecology residents from Oregon Health Sciences University. Other responsibilities include backup to the employed Certified Nurse Midwifery practice, coverage for unassigned labor/triage patients, and support of our private practice OB/GYN colleagues as needed (i.e. C-section assisting).   The OB/GYN Hospitalist is responsible  for Emergency Department and inpatient gynecologic consults and emergencies (miscarriage, ovarian torsion, ectopic pregnancy) at both hospitals.  Both hospitals provide 24/7 in house Anesthesia coverage.   Shifts are either 12 hours during the week (7p-7a) and either 12 or 24 hours on weekends.  These shifts are in-house where there is a  well-appointed call room on both  the Labor & Delivery unit at Legacy Mount Hood and Randall Children’s hospital. Weekend shifts are split evenly among the group of FTE’d employees, as are holidays which are on a rotating schedule.   Requirements and Qualifications: - Graduate of four-year U.S. Medical School or equivalent with residency completed in OB/GYN - Board Certified or Board Eligible in OB-GYN.  - Unrestricted license to practice medicine in Oregon - Current BLS from the American Heart Association required. - Bilingual a plus! If you are interested in joining a team that is making a difference, we would like to talk with you.   Legacy is recruiting a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Molalla Family Medicine Clinic located at 861 W Main St, Molalla, Oregon. This position qualifies for Legacy’s Special Location Allowance stipend.   This is a Supportive APP role. LMG Primary Care utilizes Advanced Practice Providers in this role to extend a group of primary care providers capacity and improve access by:  - Helping to manage the Epic In-basket (patient messages, medication management, diagnostic results and orders, and responding to urgent issues). - Seeing routine follow-up patients which improves access and decompresses the schedules of other providers, allowing them to see more new patients. - Seeing same day urgent care type issues which mitigates disruption to the daily schedule, improves access and patient satisfaction. Qualification and Licensure Requirements: - Graduate of accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program. - Minimum of 2-years’ experience. - Current Oregon NP or PA license w/Prescriptive Privileges. - Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. - Willing to adhere to guidelines set forth in Legacy’s Values in Action.
