Legacy's FBC in Silverton has been consistently chosen as the valley’s “Best Place To Have a Baby” by readers of the Statesman Journal.    Silverton is a quaint town with locally owned businesses, a seasonal farmer’s market, summer festivals, and historic murals.   There is ample opportunity for outdoor activities including The Silver Falls State Park with trails known for hiking, biking, and horseback riding, and The Oregon Garden which is an 80-acre botanical garden and open year-round. This group recently started providing in-patient newborn care.  This care is guided by practice protocols and standards established jointly by the Silverton Hospital Midwifery Service Staff and the Midwifery Services Program Director under the direction of the Clinical Vice President of Women’s Services. Functions in collaborative relationships with consulting physicians as clinically indicated. Participates in the daily functions and staff rotations as directed by the Midwifery Services Program Director. Your ability to assess, diagnose and make recommendations of med-surg inpatients, emergency department patients and Legacy clinic patients, will ensure that proper care and support is provided. Throughout your work in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, you’ll lend compassion and thoughtful insights in the treatment of complex psychiatric patients and their families.   Our Camas, WA. clinic is searching for an energetic, patient-focused Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Camas is just a short drive from downtown Portland and is surrounded by the unparalleled beauty of the Columbia River Gorge. If you enjoy the outdoors, this is a paradise of hiking, fishing, skiing, and biking. One hour to the east is the spectacular Mt Hood and 1.5 hours to the west are the Pacific Ocean beaches.    Responsibilities:   Provide psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and treatment recommendations, co-located for patients in primary care clinics who have psychiatric or behavioral health comorbidities. The psychiatric nurse practitioner will conduct an examination and order relevant laboratory studies to help determine a diagnosis and to develop a treatment plan for these comorbid conditions, including primary care, by providing complete examinations, diagnosis, and treatment of both chronic and episodic mental health and substance use disorders. The treatment recommendations might include biological as well as psychotherapeutic modalities and will also include a recommendation for an appropriate setting for the delivery of this care.    When appropriate, the psychiatric nurse practitioner will initiate treatment in the primary care setting and continue to monitor the patient’s progress until stabilization.  Once stabilized the patient may continue to follow-up with the psychiatric nurse practitioner in primary care or may be referred back to the primary care provider. The psychiatric nurse practitioner will work in collaboration with multidisciplinary health care teams to ensure high quality patient care.  Provide support and educational training for physicians and non-physician staff in providing care for complex psychiatric patients and their families.    The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner remains responsible for the patient throughout the course of the treatment and will determine when the patient has recovered and release the patient from care at that time.   Qualifications: - Education - As required by licensure. - Experience - Clinical experience requirements are dependent upon the specific position and include a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field. Licensure: - Applicable state RN license required. - National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) required. - Current applicable state license as a Nurse Practitioner with Prescriptive Privileges (NP-PP) required. - Possess a national Nursing certification allowing billing for Medicare. - Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.     Randall Childrens Hospital is currently seeking a Supplemental BC/BE Pediatric Hospitalist to join our dynamic and well established Pediatric Hospitalist Program at Randall hildren’s Hospital (RCH). The position will join a large, collegial group of dedicated Hospitalists.   Randall Children’s (RCH) is a comprehensive 165-bed Childrens Hospital in Portland, Oregon serving for decades as a regional leader in care to infants, children and teens in the Pacific Northwest. RCH is one of Oregon’s largest pediatric providers with nearly 100,000 patient visits per year, 24/7 in- house Pediatric Intensivist, and Level One pediatric trauma and surgical services. It has been ranked top 5% of all of Press Ganey patient satisfaction for 2018, AND top 5% for the past three years running.  Randall Children’s is located in central Portland, a dynamic city consistently ranked in the top 5 for livability and offering a wide range of cultural, outdoor and professional opportunities.
